I am also quite pleased by the sudden stop in the weather, though I am quite surprised that it does not seem very unusual. The land I know was quite warm, and comfortable; I cannot remember a storm as bad in all of my years. It is, of course, not the only noticeable change, but the rest are so very more unusual. It does not surprise me in the least that muggles have forced us into hiding, when they are capable of so many, surprising things.
Nevertheless, I am finding myself getting comfortable once more, and I fear this will likely mean a change in the foreseeable future. Not that I ever held much stock in divining arts. However it seems a pattern, of sorts.

I am finding it most difficult to think with this noise. Spells do not appear to aid in any manner, and I am now suffering from a rather terrible migraine. It does appear that covering ones ears helps, so I do apologise if anyone attempts to speak to me and I do not respond immediately.
I suppose it does take away from the disheartening fact that I have lost both my best friend and daughter. I do miss them.

There is much to be said about this situation, though I am uncertain how to word it all. I must say I am more than relieved to find that we are no longer located in the clouds and so very pleased that the collector has abandoned this 'god' nonsense. Things are much better without it. Of course, it does help that I am sharing with my very dear friend, Helga. The room is quite luxurious, and very handsome.

Blasphemy!
I cannot do this.
PATER NOSTER, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum. Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie, et dimitte nobis debita nostra sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem, sed libera nos a malo. Amen.
AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

I am making quite a lot of progress with the laws and am nearing the end. I am certain everyone will be pleased. It seems very little was done during the most recent ordeal, for which I do apologise to all of you. Thankfullt, it appears my dear daughter has rived as well as our dear friend, Master Gryffindor.

I imagine it is a bit late to comment on recent events. I have, however, been quite preoccupied with my new occupation. One would not expect writing of laws to be so complicated, but it most certainly is. Other than that, things have been surprisingly stable. I do hope it does continue.

I cannot say that I am pleased with this new arrangement, though it is quite evident that few of us appear to be. It is quite unseemly for so many people to be cohabiting in one large room. Though I realise that the Collector does not care one whit what we think. I do, however, think it is an outrage that we are to be provided with ‘spiritual’ leaders that appear to have no knowledge of religion. Not to mention that they are female. I cannot condone such heretical thinking. Nevertheless, I require a place of worship.

I do hope that everyone has had a joyous and blessed Feast Day.It appears that most received a gift, though I have noticed that not everyone was overly pleased to receive it. I do think mine will be a most excellent addition to the chapel, once we are allowed to return.

It appears that I am once again older. I cannot understand the suddenc change, either to my younger self or my current state. I must admit though, that it is good to see that things have not changed around here. Yes, I would much rather be at home, but at least the chapel is here, complete and I am doing quite well with my knowledge of this odd language.

I have taken back up with the construction of the chapel and am quite nearly finished. Indeed, most of what is left to complete is the roof which will hopefully be finished within the next few days. I must admit it has come along much faster recently. I am still adjusting to this new world, and the differences to my own. It is most certainly a big shock. At least the chapel will bring some comfort.
Between Helga and I, we have also petitioned to the Collector to help aid the children in their instruction. Whilst there are other occupations to be had in this world, the recent arrival of a very large number of children should put their welfare before all else. We are, of course, quite used to teaching students, though that should come to no surprise, with niseven of my own and Helga's own daughter it is all we have done for year. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry itself was only opened recently, but I have already 10 students in my house. The youngest is five and the oldest will turn fifteen soon. That is quite a feat, I would say.

I must say this lack of magic is making things quite difficult. I have been working on the chapel for near on two weeks now, though doing so now is considerably slower. The felling of the trees isn't much different with magic, but it has been considerably more difficult to drag the wood across the fields. Still, the land had been cleared now, and I am working on getting the foundation ready now. Hopefully we will get our magic back soon.

I cannot say I am pleased at our current predicament, though I am clearly not in the minority. It has most certainly made the past few days terribly difficult. Whilst I see there is quite a useful learning opportunity in this situation, it is rather tiresome. Nevertheless, I am rather impressed at the sophistication involved in this spell. It is interesting to note that we seem to be experiencing some of the more base emotions.

Following discussions with my fellow Tutor we have decided on the appropriate curriculum for all students contained within this land. In order to be certain what level of courses and level of knowledge we should provide, we most kindly request all students of the age of eighteen and under to please make yourselves known to us. To do so, please sign this here missive with your name, age and level of education. House affiliation is unnecessary. Anyone over the age of eighteen who feels they need further instruction is also welcome to join us. However, as you would be required to work within this land, other arrangement may be needed to accommodate whatever instruction you may require.
Thank you kindly,
Lady Rhonwena Raevenclaaw

I cannot begin to understand where I am. These people make no sense. I have tried speaking to them in Gaelic, Welsh and the language of the English, and I cannot seem to get through. I had hoped this land to be a Christian country and yet Latin is not understood. All I get are glossy looks. I suppose the manner of dress, so very odd and completely uncovered, would suggest that they are not from any known land. I cannot imagine how I have wandered into this land of barbarians, but there are so very many here.
Surely I would remember how I was brought to this place.

The bone's mostly healed now, so I think I should be able to take notes a bit better in class, which is brilliant, because I was getting tired of trying to translate my own handwriting. Madam Pomfrey's been brilliant really, and you almost can't see the cuts. Thank you all of you who didn't bother to visit. Twats
I think I'll probably be heading back onto the pitch soon. I know we're no longer playing, but I'm not going to spend the entire year getting out of shape. Who knows maybe if I hold my breath, light a few candles the scouts will suddenly want me. Granted, it's Gringott's I'm heading toward, but a girl can dream, right?
